Open Topic Selection and Project Initiation

Research on industry and social needs, the Centre selects topics and projects and develops technologies according to the needs. Colleges and universities, related enterprises and other organisations in the society can participate in the declaration of topics and the development of projects.

Open Achievement Transformation

The R&D results of the Centre are open to the society in the form of complete sets of technological process packages or technical services to meet the needs of enterprises in the industry for common problem solving and key technologies, to enhance the technological level of the whole industry, and to improve the competitiveness of the industry.

The facilities of the Centre such as relevant small test, pilot test, industrial demonstration equipment, analytical and laboratory instruments are open to the society to meet the R&D needs of relevant universities, enterprises, other social organisations or individuals.

The Centre has set up a teaching and training centre, which can provide relevant practical skills training for the personnel of social colleges and universities and other enterprises in the industry; provide technical advice and technical services for the society, meet the technical needs of all enterprises in the society and the industry, and provide corresponding technical support.

The center has carried out a number of cooperation in scientific research, analysis and testing with Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Research Institute of Tianjin University, Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other institutions of higher learning in the province.

At present, the center has jointly trained 19 graduate students with Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Ocean University, Zhejiang Research Institute of Tianjin University, Ningbo University and other universities.

The center cooperates with Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University and other universities to build a scientific and technological innovation platform.
