Center Introduction
Zhejiang Innovation Center of Green Petrochemical Technology (ZGPT) was approved the establishment by the Zhejiang Provincial Government in January 2023.It is a provincial-level new research and development institution. Its operating entity, Zhejiang Dongjiang Green Petrochemical Technology Innovation Center Co., Ltd. is composed of Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Ruisheng Technology Innovation Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Yongsheng Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Institute of Tianjin University and Zhejiang Yisheng New Materials Co., Ltd., were jointly funded and established in Ningbo High-tech Zone in April 2023.
ZGPT takes the implementation of the national innovation-driven development strategy and the first strategy of zhejiang province as a talented province and a innovation-strong province as its own responsibility, to the transformation of scientific and technological achievements application-oriented, around the green petrochemical new process, focusing on energy saving and carbon reduction of green petrochemical technology, solid waste reduction and resource utilization of the 2 major directions, as well as green refining complete sets of technology, new chemical materials green technology, industrial intelligence applications and other areas.
It will invest 5 billion yuan in scientific research during the five-year construction period, set up a team of more than 1000 high-level technological innovation talents, and build the bases of the pilot plants and industrial demonstration units in Ningbo, Zhoushan and other places to promote the structural adjustment, upgrading, quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, international competitiveness and sustainable development ability of the petrochemical industry in our province, so as to drive the petrochemical industry to develop in the direction of high-end, refinement, specialization, intelligence, low-carbon and green.
