Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for analyzing equipment malfunctions and alarms at the chemical production base, identifying root causes of failures, and preparing fault diagnosis reports.
2. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the fault case library, the typical fault pattern library, and the diagnostic knowledge base; capturing and codifying diagnostic expertise to promote knowledge reuse; and optimizing alarm criteria and diagnostic standards to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
3. Provide guidance to the monitoring team in its operations, including alarm interpretation, anomaly detection, data quality assurance, and ledger standardization, and conduct technical training to enhance the team’s professional capabilities.
4. In conjunction with equipment operating conditions and maintenance records, participate in the development of inspection and maintenance plans.
5. Participate in equipment reliability assessments, degradation trend analyses, and remaining useful life (RUL) predictions to facilitate the implementation of a predictive maintenance framework; coordinate with the equipment departments at all sites to provide cross-site remote technical support and on-site technical guidance.
Job Requirements:
1. Education and Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering Machinery, Process Equipment and Control, Fluid Mechanics, Automation, or related fields;
2. Work Experience: At least eight years of experience in condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of rotating equipment in the petrochemical, refining, and synthetic fiber industries; hands-on involvement in fault‑diagnosis projects for critical units such as centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, reciprocating machines, and large pumps; preference will be given to candidates with experience in analyzing and applying remote diagnostic platforms and online monitoring systems, including those from Bentley/ProServ.
3. Professional Skills: Proficient in vibration analysis techniques such as spectrum analysis, waveform analysis, phase analysis, and orbit analysis; knowledgeable about the underlying mechanisms of common faults including imbalance, misalignment, and bearing failures; skilled in using vibration analysis software such as Shenyang Drum’s SG8000, Anhui Rongzhi’s MOS3000, SKF, and Bentley’s System 1; preference given to candidates who understand the data‑exchange logic between equipment management systems (EM), MES systems, and diagnostic platforms.
4. Competencies and Qualifications: Candidates holding ISO Vibration Analyst Certificates (Cat III/IV), Mechanical Fault Diagnosis Certificates, or intermediate/advanced professional titles will be given priority.
